5:00 AM is just too early!

Motivation to get out of bed? Some days that motivation just isn't around at 5:00 in the morning, today was one of those days. As my alarm went off, I hit the snooze not once, not twice, but three times. (Thankfully my snooze is only 5 minutes.) Finally I dragged myself out of bed, put on my gym clothes, brushed my teeth, and put in my contacts all despite the refusal of my body to move just a little faster and to at least pretend it had energy. Off to the gym I went though. I rode the recumbent bike for 30 minutes on level 6. I started on level 1 at the beginning of March and am proud that I have moved up 6 levels. The energy did not seem to find me until the last 10 minutes on the bike. But...I got up and I went. I will remain steadfast in self discipline! Even though it is tough at times.

  1. You go girl!! BTW you didn't mention this in our text session this morning :) I would have said you earned a treat!

    You asked what keeps me motivated.... and honestly it's my children. I would love to be a healthy, active senior adult for them and for me :) At this rate it will be the only "season" I have to myself!
